I've heard that you can allow charging privileges on your child's Magicband, but can set a spending limit, is this true? Also, can you check your charge balances periodically during your stay to keep track of spending?

Hi Sandy!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.   One of my favorite things about the new MagicBands is that you can set a spending limit on each separate band.   For my upcoming trip in May, we have allocated $50.00 for each of my children to spend as they see fit.   Once they have reached the limit, they will no longer be able to charge to their MagicBands.   My daughter feels so grown up, when she can "pay" for her souvenirs herself at one of the gift shops.

Every evening of my vacation I stop by the front desk before I head to the room for the night, and  either check my account balance, or pay off my balance with Disney Gift Cards that I have collected throughout  the year.  You can choose to pay your balances off daily, or wait until the end of your trip and take care of it all at once.

Happy planning, and have an unforgettable vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
