I heard that adults are not allowed to wear costumes in the park. A: is this true? B: If it is true, we are attending the Halloween party does that still mean we as adults cannot wear costumes? Thank You!!

    Hello Jennifer,

Thank you for your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Yes, what you heard regarding adults wearing costumes in the parks is true. They are not appropriate attire which may result in refusal of admittance to the parks.

Adults cannot be dressed in clothing that can be viewed as a representative of an actual Disney character. The exception to this rule is during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Guests of all ages may dress in costume during this party. If you plan on attending this spooktacular event, check the Disney Parks website or disneyparksblog.com as the season gets closer for updates on tips and dress/costume attire guidelines.

I hope this helps and that you have a magical time on your next visit to the Disney Parks. Please write us back with any more questions on how we can help you plan your magical vacation.

    chEARs!
