    I hear that if you take one of the early sailings for Merrytime cruises the gingerbread house isn’t always completed. Is this true? If it is, would you say that’s it’s typically not done in time or just a fluke when it happens?

    Ahoy there, Ashley!  Welcome to planDisney.  The holiday season will be here soon, which means the Very Merrytime Cruises will be here soon too!

    I love to take pictures in front of the gingerbread house display and got to do so last holiday season with my planDisney pals. The earliest I have taken a Very Merrytime Cruise is mid-November, and the gingerbread house was fully built.  There are magical decisions made behind the scenes by Disney Cruise Line that can impact the timing of this, but rest assured, there will be plenty of holiday decorations around and holiday activities to participate in, even if the gingerbread house is not quite up yet.  Once you are onboard, you can check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to see what time Mickey's Tree Lighting Magic Ceremony and other holiday-themed activities are.
