Do you know when the walkway between the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian will be re-opened? We have a trip the first week of December and would love to be able to utilize this pathway for dining reservations and to get to Magic Kingdom.

Hey there Shawn, welcome to planDisney, we're so glad you're here!

I spoke to a helpful Cast Member, and unfortunately, we do not have an exact date of when the walkway between Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will open back up. I understand the convenience of being able to walk back and forth, but during a recent stay at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, we loved to use the Walt Disney World Monorail!

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa was one quick stop away, and it was only two quick stops to get to Magic Kingdom Park. On the way home from Magic Kingdom Park, we easily hopped on the Resort Monorail, and we were back at our hotel very quickly. Another fun option that my kids loved was to board a water taxi, and take a beautiful and peaceful boat ride over to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or Magic Kingdom Park!
