    Can you hear the animals in your room at the Animal Kingdom Lodge?

    Hi Amber,

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite Resort hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort and I really think you're going to LOVE staying there! With gorgeous artwork, delicious food, inspiring music, captivating wildlife, and wonderful cultural programs available, you'll really feel immersed in the beauty and wonder of Africa!

    I've stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge several times through the years and I've never heard any animals while I was in my room, however, they are live animals, so I can't guarantee that you won't hear a protective mama or hungry or playful creature at some point. With mammals like giraffes, zebras, and greater kudu as well as a variety of bird species right outside your room, none of which are known for being particularly noisy, the concern for noise definitely wouldn't deter me from booking a Savanna view room. There's really nothing quite like waking up and seeing such beautiful creatures wander right outside your window. It's quite breathtaking! If you sleep lightly and are concerned about wildlife waking you, I'd suggest bringing a sound machine along with you. That should drown out any potential noise from wildlife or other Guests.
