Are there any healthy dessert options for lunch/dinner? I have no problem with 1 dessert a day since we are on vacation, but 2 a day is just not something we would do. If there are healthier options, could they be saved by us to be consumed later that day

    Hi Ashley,

Most of Disney's restaurants have at least one no-sugar-added dessert option. And while it's usually not listed on the menu, you can often ask your server and get some cut fresh fruit instead. If you'd like to take a look at what your options are, you can go to the independent website allears.net. Click on the "Walt Disney World" tab at the top of the page, then click on "Dining," and then click on "Menus." You'll find a list of every restaurant at WDW along with their full menus and pricing. Take a look at some of the restaurants you're considering and you'll get a good sense of what your options are.

There's no way to save just the dessert portion of your meal credit for use later in the day. However, the vast majority of Disney table service restaurants can box up a dessert for you to take away. I've personally had better luck with eating my dessert later when the weather is somewhat cool. Even cake gets somewhat icky after being carried around in the Florida heat for a while. One strategy that does work is getting your dinner dessert boxed up, bringing it back to your hotel, and then eating it for breakfast the next day. Yummy!

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
