I have a health condition that does not allow me to ride roller coasters. Can my husband use ride switch to take turns to ride with my 2 kids

    Hi Georgia!

    Welcome to planDisney!

I’m happy to report that…yes! If needed, your husband will be able to use Rider Switch. Just chat with the Cast Member at the entrance to the attraction queue to get it all set up.

We’ve used Rider Switch in a similar situation when the attraction only sat two across, but my kids were either not old enough to ride in a vehicle on their own or they were too scared to do so. The Cast Members were more than happy to help.

It’s good to note that once a child is 7 years old, they’ll be able to ride in their own ride vehicle if they’d like! So, if you have a kid who meets those requirements and they’re up for a little extra thrill, your husband and kids could ride at the same time. If not, Rider Switch would be perfect to use!

During your visit this summer, in addition to the attractions, make sure to check out all the fun offerings as part of this year’s Cool KIDS’ SUMMER. There are unique character interactions at the theme parks and select resorts. Plus, if you’re a Disney World resort guest, you’ll get free water park tickets on your check-in date.

I hope you have the best trip! If you have any other questions, feel free to come back and visit us. We’re always happy to help!
