Welcome aboard, Amanda! I love the Western Caribbean itineraries with Disney Cruise Line. There are some exciting Port Adventures available in those ports of call! I hope you take the time over the next year before you set sail to check out all the options for fun in the ports!
But back to your question about youth clubs onboard! Disney Cruise Line offers amazing Youth Clubs for it's youngest sailors! Your nephew is at the age where he can enjoy the
Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab for children ages three to 12. There are so many fun activities and events going on there, he'll certainly see some "not-to-be-missed" activities listed on the Personal Navigator each day. That schedule of events will show what's going on in all of the clubs and other locations around the ship. Once you board, you can also view these listings and schedules on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, which you'll want to download before you set sail.
Since he's so close to being 11, he will most likely be able to join in on the fun at the tween club
Edge too. Since he won't be 11 yet though, he'll need a parent or guardian to stop by Edge during Open House that first day to chat with the counselors and give written permission allowing him to participate. Do that right away when you board, and hopefully he'll be all set for lots of fun with the option of participating in three different clubs!
Stop back and visit us over the next year as you continue to plan, Amanda! We're happy to help if you have any other questions about your big cruise!
