    We're heading to WDW in 3 wks. We're staying at CBR, standard room, for our stay, any specific rooms or buildings you would recommend?

    Hi Tim!

    Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a wonderful resort complete with cool Pirate themed rooms, and a newly refurbished Old Port Royale pool.

    Usually, when making your reservation, you can specify what your preference would be with respect to location. There is no guarantee that this will be honored, but I can say that Disney Reservations does try their best to accommodate every guest.

    If you really have your heart set on a certain building, my recommendation is to call Disney Reservations and have them notate it on your reservation. Then, 10 days prior to arrival, after doing Online Check-In, you can call your resort directly, and ask if it was noted on your reservation. Upon arrival, if you were not assigned a room in your building of choice, you can always ASK. Cast Members are usually willing to accommodate you if there is availability. If your interest is spending time at the Old Port Royale theme pool, then perhaps you would prefer the rooms near the pool area. Those buildings, Trinidad North 31,32,33 and Martinique 25, 26 and 27 are the buildings that lay closest to the pool. These are considered preferred buildings, and will be at a higher cost that standard rooms.
