We are heading to WDW in november and are staying at the Swan Hotel. Can we catch the Skyliner from Epcot to Hollywood Studios on a Friday when we have a Park Pass to HS? We only have a Park Pass for Epcot for Saturday.

Hello Anne, and welcome to planDisney!  Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up soon.  It is a great idea to begin thinking about how you plan to get around during your visit.

I am a huge fan of the Disney Skyliner!  It is my favorite method of transportation at Walt Disney World Resort, and I try to incorporate a ride high in the sky every chance I get!  None of the Disney Skyliner stations are located within the gates of a theme park, so no admission or Disney Park Pass reservation is required to board.  The EPCOT station is located just outside International Gateway (view the station on the interactive map at the bottom of this page), and would be about a 15-minute walk from the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel.

Anne, while it is possible to travel to Disney's Hollywood Studios the way you describe, it would not be the most efficient way to get there.  From International Gateway, the Disney Skyliner travels to Disney's Riviera Resort and then on to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, where you would disembark and transfer to the Disney's Hollywood Studios line.  Depending on the time of day you are traveling, you may find your party in line behind other guests waiting to board at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.  I have attached this map showing the Disney Skyliner route to give you a better idea.

My recommendation would be to simply walk to Disney's Hollywood Studios from your hotel.  It should take about 15 minutes on the pleasant path along the waterway.  When you reach the underpass at Buena Vista Drive, you'll need to go up and over the bridge and back down on the other side.  There is a pedestrian path over the bridge.

Did you know, transportation and walking directions are available in the My Disney Experience mobile app?  From the home screen, use the search button to enter where you would like to go.  You can then select "Find on Map" or "Get Directions".  You can also use the location button to pull up a map.  The default view is "Wait Times" at Magic Kingdom Park, but you can use the filter and drop-down menu at the top to change the location and category.

I hope that helps!  Please let us know if you have any additional questions as you plan your visit.  Have a wonderful stay!
