Hi Ilyas! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this great question! As a fellow girl dad, I'll be happy to share some insight about your upcoming stay.
Let me start by saying that
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique was the most incredible experience we have had visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. There are a few reasons for this, one being a special character interaction that we had at the end, but the entire time there was a truly memorable one.
We opted to go ahead and make a reservation for a trip earlier this year. My daughters were eight and five at the time, so your four-year-old will be a perfect age for this experience. Previously, there were three active Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique locations around Walt Disney World. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney Springs are both home to two of them, although each of these locations is closed at this time. The Magic Kingdom houses the third and in my opinion, is the flagship location. The boutique sits inside of
Cinderella Castle and is just magical.
You can begin making reservations 60 days in advance which I highly recommend. With only one location open at this time, snagging a reservation for a specific day and time can be difficult. If you are staying in a
Disney Resorts hotel during your visit, you'll have a slight advantage. You can make reservations 60 days before your arrival day for your entire length of stay up to 10 days. For example, if you plan to visit Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on the last day of your stay, you'll have a leg up from Guests staying offsite since they have to wait for the exact 60-day marker.
When you arrive for your daughter's special day, you'll start first with selecting a package. You can choose to bring a dress from home or select a Disney Princess gown from their selection. I will not give away any spoilers from the experience but, from start to finish, I would plan for up to 90 minutes. Once she is dressed and ready for hair and makeup, there may be an additional waiting period while her Fairy Godmother is getting ready to greet her. You're allowed up to two Guests per child to view the experience, which was by far my favorite part of our trip. Watching the joy on their faces and how special they felt at that moment was an all-time moment for me as a dad.
My wife opted to have dresses made that were designed to look like the Step Sisters from Cinderella. When their transformation was complete, we were escorted out of the Boutique and just so happened to run into the Step Sisters outside of Cinderella Castle about to begin their meet and greet. They took a few moments and interacted with my girls. Lucky timing on our part, but these are the experiences that truly set a Disney vacation apart from any other!
Ilyas, I hope this information helps you when it comes time to plan for your upcoming stay!
