We are heading to WDW in Jan. for the first time. Obviously a little overwhelmed with info. But did not know if rollaway beds are available at PO riverside? Will not exceed head count, just do not want to share with my 3yo. Who tosses & turns all night

    Hi Jeremy!

Congratulations on planning your VERY first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! You and your family will have a wonderful time exploring all the attractions and entertainment that WDW has to offer! Having had the chance to spend a week (again) at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside this past month, I will say that we loved it! The southern charm, fantastic food court (made to order omelets and an espresso machine!!!) and a wonderful pool area has won me as a true fan!

Roll-away bed maybe requested upon check-in, however, it is not a guarantee. What you can request is a room with a trundle bed. The Alligator Bayou section of the resort offers rooms to accommodate a party of five (with a child under 9). The bed lifts up during the day and doubles as a bench and can comfortable fit your 3 year old. These can be requested prior to check-in, just make sure you book an Alligator Bayou room. You can make these changes by calling Disney at (407) WDISNEY.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation! -Malanie

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
