We're heading to WDW at the end of May. Does Memory Maker include the photos taken while on rides?

    Jambo, JaneAnne.

Welcome back to planDisney! I see that your countdown has dipped below two months, which means you’ll be standing right in the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. with a Mickey Pretzel in hand and Cinderella Castle in your view faster than you can say bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!

I’m so glad you decided to purchase Memory Maker for your upcoming vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Looking back at photos from my family’s past Walt Disney World Resort vacations is one of my favorite things to do when we return home from a trip. Seeing the snapshots of those special moments makes all the joyful emotions and magic we experienced together come flooding right back. I think you will be pleased with Memory Maker too, especially if you take advantage of as many Disney PhotoPass opportunities as possible. You can check for nearby photo locations by selecting “PhotoPass” in the top drop-down menu on the interactive map in your My Disney Experience Mobile App.

I’m happy to report that all of your attraction photos and videos are included in your Memory Maker purchase - hooray! Ahead of your trip, make sure that everyone in your traveling party is on your Family & Friends list and that you've updated your Disney PhotoPass sharing permissions for each of them so their photos and videos show up in your PhotoPass Gallery alongside your own. In order for your photos and videos to automatically link to your My Disney Experience account, you’ll want to have your MagicBand on-hand or be signed into the mobile app with low power mode turned off. You also need to make sure you’ve enabled Bluetooth for the My Disney Experience Mobile App in your device’s settings. I encourage you to make a note of what time you experience the attractions with accompanying photos or videos just in case they don't link to your account properly. If you discover that some of your pictures are indeed missing, just call the wonderful Disney PhotoPass Guest Support Team at (407) 560-4300 and give them your timestamp information. They will be able to use it to look up your missing Disney PhotoPass media.

When you return home from your magical vacation, JaneAnne, be sure to order a Disney PhotoPass Archive USB flash drive. This is a must-do after our trips back “home.” It will have all the photos and videos from your trip loaded onto it, so it’s the perfect backup system for your magical memories.

I hope to see you here at planDisney again one day, JaneAnne! Enjoy your trip!

    TTFN (ta-ta for now),
    Alyssa
