Heading to WDW in early August. I know that one can take WDW bus to Blizzard Beach to get to Winter Summerland mini golf. However, is transportation back to the resorts still available after Blizzard Beach closes for the day?

    Heigh-Ho Loretta,

We, as well as Santa and his elves, were so excited to hEAR about the reopening of Winter Summerland Miniature Golf. Here Guests can decide between two 18-hole courses and which one best suits their vacation needs. The Winter Course, filled with snowy creations and holiday delights that keep you snuggled in for more. Or the Summer Course, filled with a holiday beach life like no other.

Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort are able to utilize bus transportation, during Disney’s Blizzard Beach operating hours, to access Winter Summerland Miniature golf. But if you are planning to tee-off or finish, after Disney’s Blizzard Beach has closed, Guests should think about using their own car, a taxi service or rideshare. Guest at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort & Gran Destino Tower and of Disney’s All-Star Resorts, have been known to use a walking path and sidewalk to access Winter Summerland Minature Golf but there are portions, such as exiting Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, where there is no pedestrian sidewalk. So walker beware.

Your Walt Disney World vacation is just around the corner and if I can help with any further curiouser and curiouser inquiries you may have feel free to ask me.
