    We will be heading to WDW during my daughters 9th birthday! Will they do anything special for her at any of Character Dinners? I am hoping to reserve a table at the Royal table, Akershus, or Crystal Palace. Thanks!

    Hi, Angel! There is no way to know what (if any) birthday surprises might come your daughter's way.  The sprinkling of pixie dust is random, but there are ways to increase the chances of her special day being recognized. First, note the occasion when you make the reservation.  They will ask if you are celebrating anything.  Second, pick up a birthday pin at Guest Services.  Last, mention to the Cast Member serving you that it is her birthday (if he or she hasn't already picked up on the fact). There are no guarantees, of course, but most of the time special events are acknowledged in some small way.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
