I will be heading straight to Epcot from the airport for F&WF when we arrive in Orlando. Since I won't be checking in at our Disney resort first, how does it work for the parking fee? Will we need to pay for parking at the resort and parks?

    Hi Dawn,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Walt Disney World vacation is just a few days away. How exciting!

What a fun start to your trip! I was at Epcot on Sunday and loved seeing all of the marketplaces representing regions and countries around the world at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. I highly recommend that you come with a hearty appetite.

Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel receive complimentary parking at the theme parks. Resort privileges begin on the day of check-in and extend until midnight on the day of checkout. You should not have to pay for parking at Epcot on your day of arrival if you will be staying at a Disney Resort hotel. Simply show the Cast Member at the entrance of Epcot your MagicBand, and he/she will be able to verify your resort reservation. I have previously visited the theme parks before arriving to my Disney Resort hotel and have not been required to pay for parking that day. Standard overnight self-parking will be charged to registered Guests and is based on the resort category. I would suggest that you go ahead and complete your Online Check-In to expedite the check-in process.

I hope this information has been helpful to you, Dawn. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to visit us again. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!

    Bon Appétit,
    Jodie
