Welcome to planDisney, Janice!
Disney’s Pop Century Resort is groovy in a far out kind of way, and I can’t wait for you to experience its unique vibe on your upcoming vacation. The nostalgic decor will transport you to another time and place, and the Cast Members are truly the bee’s knees. Plus, you can’t beat that early morning commute to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT via the
Disney Skyliner. Be sure to check out the board of recreational activities, like
Movies Under the Stars, for the week you’re there. It should be posted in the lobby somewhere, but if you don’t see it, the Front Desk Cast Members can give you more information.
Great minds think alike, Janice! My husband and I often bring our Fire TV Stick with us when we stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and have been able to use it without any issues so far. We like to grab dinner from
Everything POP Shopping & Dining and enjoy it in our room while we watch our favorite Disney movies on Disney+. It’s the perfect way to end the night, if you ask me! Be extra careful when plugging the device into the back of your room’s television. You will have to change the input on the tv using the television remote and connect to the Disney Guest
Wi-Fi via your Fire TV Stick’s settings in order to use it properly. Since you are a Canadian Guest, you may also want to do some research into changing the country/region settings on it temporarily so there are no issues on your end.
Janice, I hope this information proves useful. If you think of any other questions while planning out all of the magical details of your vacation, please don’t hesitate to stop by again. We’re all ears and happy to help!
Stay groovy,
Alyssa
