Bonjour Tommy, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. Combining a day of sightseeing in the City of Light, a day at Disneyland Paris, and then the first-ever NFL game in France sounds like an incredible Parisian vacation!
The trains in Paris make it easy to explore the city and
connect to the RER A train when you’re ready to head to Disneyland Paris. If you’re coming straight from the airport, you’ll need to store your luggage somewhere while you’re enjoying the city. There are many third-party companies that can hold your bags for a fee; just be sure to check the operating hours and reviews. My family used one of these services when we had a few hours before we could check into our rental apartment in Paris last year.
You might look for luggage storage near the Châtelet–Les Halles station in Paris, since both the RER A (which you can take to Disneyland Paris) and RER B (which you can take from Charles de Gaulle airport) stop there. When you take the RER A to Disneyland Paris, it’s about a 45-minute ride to the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station. From there, you can walk a few minutes to both theme parks and Disney Village. If you're headed to your hotel, there’s a free shuttle bus that connects the station to all of the Disney Hotels (except Davy Crockett Ranch). My fellow panelists, Matt and Lizzie, filmed a helpful video showing the RER A, if you'd like to check it out.
Before your trip, don't forget to download the
Disneyland Paris mobile app. You can use it to book
reserved viewing areas for parades and nighttime shows, buy guaranteed access to the theater shows, and purchase
Disney Premier Access to skip the standby lines for select rides. I found these magical extras extremely helpful for maximizing my time in the parks. The app is also great for checking wait times, joining
virtual queues to meet characters, and pre-ordering food with
Click & Collect (similar to mobile ordering in the U.S. Disney theme parks).
Also, keep an eye on Disney Parks Blog for more details on the
Disney Halloween Festival, which will be going on during your visit. They’ll usually release more information as we get closer to the Fall (in the meantime, you can check out
last year's guide to start getting excited).
I’m wishing you the best visit ever in October! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
