heading to Orlando the week between Christmas and New Years with our 18 mnonth old son. We are not staying in the resort and will be using our time share. Can you recommend things to do for that age group??? Any suggestions for New Years eve???

Hi Diane, What a great time of the year to vacation at the Walt Disney World Resorts. I was lucky enough to vacation at the parks during this week and it was so magical! Disney himself dreamed of a place where families could experience fun together. You will be able to experience many attractions with your son. You will love Magic Kingdom's Fantasyland as well as other attractions such as Country Bear Jamboree, Jungle Cruise and Buzz Lightyear. Disney's Hollywood Studios has great shows including one for little ones. Epcot mixes science fun with cultural experiences in World Showcase. Animal Kingdom is great to get out and explore with the animals and the Boneyard is a fun playground. As for New Years Eve, we went to Magic Kingdom. This was very magical and family friendly. However, leaving with other guests afterwards was crowded so stay and shop:) Finally, the parks are crowded and have been known to reach capacity. You will need to plan accordingly and make sure you are there sooner rather than later. Wishing you a magical vacation! Beth
