We're heading to Old Key West over Easter Weekend. Are there any special kids activities, like an egg hunt, at our resort? My kids are 12,8,5. Thanks! Amy

Hey there, Amy! Thanks for hopping in with a question for us.

I checked in with a few people at Disney's Old Key West Resort, and while they don't have any information regarding special holiday activities at the moment, they highly recommend when you check in, you snag a resort activities guide. That will clue you in to anything special going on for Easter around the resort. In years past, you might see characters in the hotel lobby dressed in their Easter finery, and some of the resorts have had a candy scramble on Easter morning. Just check at the front desk for that schedule.

I do know that this year, Epcot will be repeating its Egg-stravaganza! This is so much fun. You can visit Epcot any time between March 16 and April 1, you can participate in this scavenger hunt through the World Showcase. You can purchase a map and stickers, and when you finish filling your map, you can return it to Disney Traders for an egg-cellent surprise.

You can find Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny for a meet and greet at the Magic Kingdom, and there is an Easter procession. Many of the restaurants are also featuring a special Easter menu.

We spent last Easter with our daughters at Old Key West, and we actually hid eggs in our villa. The eggs featured Disney themed candy and prizes, and even the 25 year old got in on the fun. The villas offer plenty of room to help Easter stay magical at your home away from home.

    Happy planning, Amy!
