Welcome aboard, Gina! You must be so excited to set sail with Disney Cruise Line! I love the amazing ports of call that you'll be visiting on your Eastern Caribbean sailing! I hope you've had a chance to take a look at some of the wonderful
Port Adventure offerings for your trip. Disney's Port Adventures add so much more magic to an already incredibly pixie-dusted vacation!
Disney Cruise Line's round trip
Caribbean sailings from the U.S. do not require U.S. citizens to have passports, though those are always good to have for any international travel. Should you not have passports yet, you can bring originals or copies of your children's state-issued (not hospital-issued) birth certificates. Adults would also be required to have their government-issued I.D.'s, such as a driver's license on top of their own state-issued birth certificates.
My family prefers to travel with passports, as we just feel safer having those in the event of an unforeseen emergency in a foreign port of call. We've never had a problem, but I like being prepared!
The information I gave you are the basics of requirements, but please stop by the Disney Cruise Line website to view the most up-to-date information for
Passports and other Cruise Document Requirements for the Caribbean sailings.
I hope those details help, Gina! Get ready to set sail with Captain Mickey! Have so much fun!
