Hello! Heading out on the Magic for a 7 night cruise next week. My son is going to be 3 in July and is not potty trained, however all 3 of the other kids we are traveling with are over 3. Any chance my son will be allowed to join them in the Oceaneer club?

    Hi Molly!

I'm sure you are so ready for your magical vacation to begin!  I wish I had better news, but the Oceaneer Club is for Guests ages 3-12 and potty trained.  The counselors onboard do not assist the children in the bathroom so they must be completely self-sufficient when using the potty.  Your son will not be allowed to check-in by himself, but can visit the club during "Open House" times throughout your voyage.  These times are set aside for Guests of all ages to have the chance to experience the youth spaces as a family.  When my son was too young for the Oceaneer Club, he had a great time in the nursery, Flounder's Reef. He participated in storytime, playtime, movie time and even naptime while my daughter was spending time in the club.  Although, there is a minimal hourly charge, it was well-worth it for my husband and me to have some time for the adult-only offerings onboard.

I'm so glad you visited the Moms Panel with your cruise question!

    Have a wonderful day!
