We're heading to HS for one day and my husband and daughter want to go one the Rise of the Resistance ride + Smugglers Run but my son and I don't/ can't because he is not tall enough. How do we plan this with the LL passes/ LL single passes?

Welcome to planDisney, Janelle! Thanks so much for swinging by with your question today. It sounds like you have an amazing day planned at Hollywood Studios, and I love that you're thinking ahead to make sure that everyone gets to enjoy the attractions that work best for them!

The good news is that you don't have to all book the exact same Lightning Lane selections. You can mix and match based on what works best for your family! Here are a few options for planning it:

For Rise of the Resistance, since it's a Lightning Lane Single Pass attraction, you'll want to purchase it only for your husband and daughter. You and your son can skip this one! Since Smuggler's Run is part of Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can initially book it for everyone then modify the reservation to remove you and your son and pick something else for the both of you instead.

Another option for you: if you all want to book three attractions together first, you can wait and grab Smuggler's Run as a Lightning Lane Multi Pass later in the day once you've used one of your pre-booked Lightning Lanes. Your husband and daughter can grab that one, and you and your son can pick something else! In my experience, Smuggler's Run typically has some same-day Lightning Lane availability, so this can be a great way to keep your plans flexible.

I hope this answers your question, Janelle, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
