Welcome aboard, Sheila!
I love adding a few extra Disney days to our
Disney Cruise Line adventures by visiting the Disney Parks before or after our sailings out of Port Canaveral too!
Epcot is my favorite, so I'm happy to hear you'll be heading straight there after your cruise. The last morning, guests will be assigned a breakfast time of around 7:00 a.m. for those who have had
Main Dining at night, and those who had the second dinner seating will be assigned a debarkation breakfast of about 8:00. You'll be given exact times the night prior. Cabanas is also open that morning for those who would like to dine at a different time than assigned.
Once the ship is cleared for disembarkation, usually around 7:00 or 7:30, guests who are carrying all of their own luggage off the ship are free to disembark, followed by those who have sent their luggage ahead to the dock. If you're hoping to get the most out of your Epcot day, and since you've arranged private transfers, you might consider having a quick breakfast and then walking off in that first group with your luggage instead of sending it ahead the night prior. If you do send it ahead, you'll simply wait until that group is called and disembark, find your bags in the terminal baggage area, and head through customs. Normally, once you begin to leave the ship, the process of disembarking and clearing customs takes about half an hour, but I'd add in some extra time in your plans just in case. All guests must leave the ship by 9:30 a.m.
I hope that gives you a bit of a time frame for what to expect that morning, Sheila. You'll have about a 45 minute to an hour ride from Port Canaveral to Epcot, and then you'll be off to enjoy even more Disney fun!
