    Heading to Epcot in November for our sons 6th birthday. Where in Epcot can we get the birthday cupcake that I have heard about through other questions on this panel, and where can we get the Birthday pin for him to wear? Thank you

    You can get a free "Today is My Birthday" button at any theme park guest relations office. They are also sometimes available at the theme park ticket windows and the resort check-in desks.

    As far as cupcakes go, while this is not guaranteed, often at WDW restaurants if you tell them that you are celebrating a birthday, at the end of the meal they will give you a free cupcake. In my observation, this is most likely to happen at a character meal, but it could happen anywhere. The thing to do is tell as many Disney-related people as often as possible about your birthday celebration. Tell the reservationist when you make any table service meal reservations (407-WDW-DINE), the host or hostess at the restaurant, and tell your server.

    If you want to be sure to have a cake with any meal, you should contact the Disney cake hotline at 407-827-CAKE. They can have a birthday cake delivered to your special celebration.
