    We are heading to DW next September 17-23 with our two kids, who'll be 3 & 5. Can you suggest an itinerary? May or may not go to parks on traveling days, would like to see all 4 parks. Staying at Contemporary. Thank you!!

    Liz,

    I am glad to help!

    You are going at a slower time of the year, so with younger kids I recommend taking advantage of the morning Extra Magic Hours whenever they make sense. This is where I would go;

    September 17 - Arrival Day
    September 18 - Magic Kingdom
    September 19 - Epcot
    September 20 - Animal Kingdom
    September 21 - Hollywood Studios
    September 22 - Magic Kingdom
    September 23 - Departure Day

    So you will want to have something planned for the evening of the 20th. While the Animal Kingdom doesn't close until 7, it gets pretty slow at night. You might consider a fun dinner show or event dining experience. Or you could take the kids to Downtown Disney for shopping and some sweet treats.

    I might also suggest that if your budget can afford it, you might think of park hoppers. If you did that, you could make the 19th another Magic Kingdom day, and you could hit Epcot on the evening of the 20th. The truth is that the Magic Kingdom will be your most likely destination, and a hopper will give you the chance to get there more often.

    Write me back if you have any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
