    I was heading down to Orlando for a week to go to Disneyworld however now I see there is a half marathon going on on the 25 & 26th , will the rest of the week be packed or just the weekend? what is expected...should I cancel.. help.

    Your vacation is just a few days away! I hope you are excited!

    Disney's Princess Half Marathon Weekend presented by the Children's Miracle Network Hospital will take place during your stay. There are races Friday, February 24-Sunday, February 26 with the half marathon on Sunday. Most of these races start at 6:00 am and the parks are cleared of runners by the afternoon.

    Most runners will be in Orlando starting on Thursday, February 23 and will leave Orlando on Monday, February 27. You can easily plan around the races and it is fun to be in the park and see everyone wearing their medals.

    Having been to numerous marathon weekends, I would keep my vacation and enjoy!
