Heading to Disneyworld May 24-31. Annual passes for DVC members are currently unavailable. If I purchase a 4-day hopper pass now, can I upgrade to annual passes if they become available with the credit from the 4-day hopper pass?

    Hiya Lisa!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, where we love helping Guests like you with answers to their Disney vacation questions. From one Disney Vacation Club Member to another, let me offer you a warm “welcome home.” It would be my pleasure to help you with your question about upgrading theme park tickets to an Annual Pass.

Since new Disney Sorcerer Pass sales are currently paused, it is a great idea to purchase theme park tickets for your May Disney vacation. You can upgrade your theme park tickets to an Annual Pass once the sales of Annual Passes resume. Purchasing regular theme park tickets now will guarantee that you have valid theme park admission and the ability to make theme park reservations if the sales of Annual Passes have not resumed by the time your May vacation arrives.

I hope this information helps, Lisa, and you have an unforgettable vacation in Walt Disney World Resort next year! Please stop back by planDisney if we can answer any more of your vacation questions.
