We are heading to Disney with a 2yo and a 4yo and I can not decide if I want Wilderness villas for the space or Polynesian for the monorail? What do you think? I really wish their was a villa on the monorail!

This is a super tough call. The Polynesian and the Wilderness Lodge are both wonderful, amazing, awesome, magically fun resorts. You'd be happy at either one of them.

I think if you twisted my arm and made me pick, I'd go with the Wilderness Lodge. When my kids were preschoolers, they went to bed quite early. I really value the ability to move around the room freely when they are asleep without fear of waking them up. Plus, the villas do have the in-room washer/dryer. Frequent panel readers will know that I do NOT do chores on vacation :-), but sometimes there are spills and wet swimsuits. The ability to deal with those issues easily with the washer/dryer has improved my trip several times. Also, while the monorail access is nice (OK, very nice), the Wilderness Lodge is still quite close to the Magic Kingdom. My kids love the approach to the MK by boat that you get from the WL.

For info on your "villa on the monorail" idea, go to the Orlando Sentinal's website and look for articles about the "Kingdom Tower" project. Mickey may be reading your mind.
