    hello! We're heading to Disney world at the end of July and I'm tying to plan which days to go when. I'm a bit confused as to what the special events are that are scheduled in the am such as Hollywood studios and magic kingdom.

    Hi Genevieve!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    When viewing Park Hours on the My Disney Experience mobile app, certain dates show "Special Ticketed Event" on some mornings or evenings.  It becomes a bit clearer when viewing Park Hours on the Walt Disney World website, where those special events are specified.  On select mornings, Disney Early Morning Magic - Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park or Disney Early Morning Magic - Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios take place.  Both of these events allow Guests to enjoy select attractions before the park opens, as well as breakfast.  Tickets are required in addition to regular Theme Park admission.

    Disney After Hours events take place select evenings at Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.  Tickets are needed to attend Disney After Hours, but regular Theme admission is not required.

    Extra Magic Hours are a complimentary benefit for guests of the following hotels:

    Disney Resort hotels
    Walt Disney World Swan Hotel
    Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel
    Shades of Green Resort
    Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels
    Four Seasons Resort Orlando
    Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek
    Waldorf Astoria Orlando
