Hi Kristi! Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question! Choosing a Walt Disney World Resort for our vacations is always one of my favorite aspects of the planning process! There are many different types of room accommodations in the Walt Disney World Resort to meet various family sizes and budget needs. Walt Disney World Resorts are categorized into Value, Moderate, Deluxe and Deluxe Villas. As a mom of three boys, I will suggest my favorites in the Value, Moderate, and Deluxe categories that are most geared to boys in my opinion.
Disney's Pop Century Resort is my favorite Value resort and offers a whimsical setting, its own dedicated bus line to the theme parks, and a great quick-service dining location.
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is my favorite Moderate Resort which features Southwest-theming, fun recreational activities, and offers a quick-service and table-service restaurant. In the Deluxe category, I would recommend
Disney's Wilderness Lodge which is themed after the Great American Northwest National Park lodges. The Lodgepole Pine Lobby at Disney's WIlderness Lodge is breathtaking and features a Grand Fireplace with chairs to sit and enjoy the view. We love being able to take the motor launch (water taxi) to Magic Kingdom Park from this resort location. Disney's Wilderness Lodge also offers Movies Under the Stars, catch and release fishing, Fire Rock Geyser, great dining locations on site, plus much more. Follow the links I have provided to learn more about all three of these resorts. Please don't hesitate to write me back if you would like any additional suggestions. Best wishes for a
Magical trip, Kristi!
Happy Planning,
Jodie
