Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Joanne! It looks like you only have a few more sleeps until your upcoming trip!
The Neverland Club at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort was a favorite of my kiddos, and it allowed my husband and me to eat to a relaxing meal while our boys had a jolly good time! Even though it underwent some transformations to become Lilo's Playhouse, I was truly sad when it closed in 2018. Last year, Walt Disney World offered a fun pilot program at Disney's Contemporary Resort called Pixar Play Zone, which I visited out of curiosity during one of my visits. Sadly, the pilot was not renewed, and as of this week, they no longer offer childcare services. A new immersive experience called
Captain Hook’s Pirate Crew is set to open later this month at
Disney's Beach Club Resort, but unfortunately, it won't be available until April 28, which is likely to be after your trip. If you'd still like some details, call (407) 824-5437.
I wish I could offer you a more pixie dusted answer, Joanne, but I do encourage you to think about an in-room sitter through
Kids Nite Out. I have used their services twice, and have had positive experiences both times. The sitters showed up at my resort room on time with a bag of fun activities, including games and crafts. They also texted me several times to give me updates, which helped relieve any anxieties I had. This is probably your best option, especially if you only need a few hours for an adults' night out. Call (407) 828-0920 for information.
I hope you have a magical trip with your grandchildren, Joanne! Feel free to bounce back and chat with us again!
