Welcome aboard, Michelle!
I'm so happy to hear that you'll soon setting sail on the Disney Dream! My kids adore the Youth Clubs on the ships! Both your daughter and your nephew will be in the same clubs while onboard. The
Oceaneer Club is fabulous, and believe me when I say that there is truly something for everyone. Little princesses can dress up like their favorite Disney fairies and princesses in Pixie Hollow while the Star Wars fans take control of the Millennium Falcon to fly through space! They can all enjoy feeling "toy-sized" in Andy's Room and climbing through the Slinky Dog tunnel. If they're into video games, they both will love playing in the Disney Infinity room too! And those are just the spaces! The counselors host all sorts of amazing activities all day and night, so surely there will be plenty to keep them both engaged and entertained!
In the
Oceaneer Lab, there are even more exciting activities for them to enjoy. My kids love the cooking classes and Super Sloppy Science classes. My son adored creating his own volcano and watching it explode, and making Flubber, or Stitch's Space Goo, as they called it too! Crafts galore will entertain them, as well as learning how to draw Disney characters like the animators. My son really enjoys the navigation simulators in the Lab where he can virtually steer the ship or a pirate ship around the Caribbean!
Check your Personal Navigator each day, and the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once onboard, to see when different activities take place and be sure your kiddos are there to participate. I bet you'll find it hard to get them to leave, they'll be having such fun, Michelle!
Have a great cruise!
