Hi, heading to Alaska in 2015, researching port excursions now. There are several that include sled dogs. Some mention puppies, others do not. Do all sled dog excursions included puppies? Specifically wondering about the on-glacier sled dog trips. Thx!

    Hi again, Leslie!

Puppies! Puppies! Just saying that reminds me of Cruella De Vil! Luckily for you (and those puppies), I don't think she's been hanging out in Alaska lately!

I completely understand that you want to be sure your dog sled adventure includes a visit with the adorable puppies. Most of the adventures that also include a visit to the musher's camp should include seeing the puppies, but the ones that specifically mention that will definitely include time visiting with them. One that I highly recommend is the Dog Sledding on Mendenhall Glacier by Helicopter. Not only will you get to visit those cute puppies, but you'll get to experience a thrilling dog slide ride on the glacier, ride in a helicopter with the most stunning views and make memories you'll remember forever! After all, it's not often that you'll have the opportunity to ride on a dog sled across a glacier in Alaska!

    Have fun planning, Leslie!
