HI! We are headed to WDW in November. The day we are arriving we are plainning to have a low key day. What is the best way to get to the Boardwalk for an evening adventure?

Hello there, Angela! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the submit your Walt Disney World Resort question!

I am all about the low key days at Walt Disney World Resort! On my family’s arrival days, I tend to book breakfast reservations at Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. We leisurely enjoy our breakfast and drink a pot of delicious press-pot Kona Coffee. There’s just something absolutely magical about this tradition that signifies that it’s finally vacation time!

Disney’s Boardwalk is another great place for a nice, relaxing evening! This charming area offers up an excellent selection of dining, shopping, and entertainment options that are sure to please the entire family! I love grabbing a quick snack from one of the food carts and enjoying one of the magic shows put on by the dazzling entertainers!

There are actually a couple of ways you can transport yourself and your family to Disney’s Boardwalk! Disney Resort hotels offer complimentary bus transportation to Disney’s Boardwalk. You should be able to walk over to one of the bus stops at your Disney Resort hotel and find an estimate of when the next bus will arrive to whisk you and your family to your evening of adventure! The other option would be utilizing the Minnie Van Service! Minnie Vans are operated by friendly Cast Members who are waiting to whisk you away to any location within Walt Disney World Resort! Minnie Vans may be reserved and paid for utilizing the Lyft app. This makes the entire process quick and easy!

Hopefully, this information has given you a few ideas for your arrival day evening!
