Hi, Kathleen!
Thanks for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love discovering areas for down time in the parks at Walt Disney World Resort.
The biggest spot to rest is on
Tom Sawyer Island in Magic Kingdom Park. There's a lot of wooded areas and some spots to sit in the shade. There are also a number of spots to explore and have fun. It may be a good place to run off that last bit of energy and then settle into the stroller for a nap.
In
Epcot, I'd recommend looking for a spot in at the bistro-seating area in Morocco or the umbrella tables in the America Pavilion along the World Showcase. I've also sitting off to the side of the Mexican pyramid and even quietly walking through the shops inside the pyramid can be great for an air conditioned catnap.
In Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, there is a small walkway you can enter to your right on your way to Africa just after you walk by the
Flights of Wonder show. There is a small shelter with small tables and seats and even wonderful fans to keep you cool under the shade of the trees. I love it there.
In
Disney's Hollywood Studios, I have caught myself taking advantage of the shade on the benches around Echo Lake.
I hope these tips help! Let me know if I can offer any other answers to questions before your unforgettable vacation!
