We are headed to wdw later this year, staying off property and my husbands brother who is retired from military after 30+ years. He has offered to buy tickets for our trip , but my question is does he have to be there for us to use the tickets?

    Hi Cathy,

Please thank your brother-in-law for his service to our country! I am grateful to the military and their family's for their service to our country to keep us free.

Your brother-in-law will need to be at Walt Disney World to activate the tickets. He is eligible to purchase up to six tickets and they must be used by September 28, 2013.

Disney has a variety of specials for the military which is a great way to say thank you for their service. This includes room discounts and tickets.

    Wishing you a magical day!
