Headed to WDW February 16 for a fun filled week with nephews who have never been. Adult daughter and I are big Disney fans and cannot wait. We were hoping to see Joy and Sadness from Inside Out. Do they do meet and greet anywhere?

    Hey Howdy Hey Shelley!

It sounds like you're gearing up to create some core memories at Disney World with your family! And don't forget to claim your "Auntie of the Year" title -- your nephews are going to be absolutely over the moon with excitement! You're sure to make their first Disney adventure even more magical!

It wasn't too long ago that Joy and Sadness were meeting together at EPCOT, but unfortunately, that is no longer the case. While Joy can still be found greeting Guests at Pixar Plaza in Hollywood Studios throughout the day, Sadness is currently not available for meet-and-greets.

I would recommend keeping an eye on the characters available for meet-and-greets in your My Disney Experience app, as things can change unexpectedly, and new opportunities might pop up during your visit. To do this, simply open your app and tap the "location icon" on your Home Screen. Under "Wait Times," select "Characters." You'll find a full list of characters available to meet, along with their locations across Walt Disney World!

Since this is your nephews first visit, be sure to stop by any Guest Relations location or the front desk of your Disney Resort, to pick up their complimentary "First Visit" buttons!

I'm wishing you the most JOYFUL visit, Shelley! Feel free to visit us at planDisney with any other questions that pop up!

    Joyful wishes,

    Kami
