We are headed for our trip in a few days. We are staying at pop century and checking in the day before our first park day. We need to verify FL residency for our tickets. Can I do this at the hotel, or does it have to be outside of the parks or Disney Spri

Welcome to planDisney, Kelsey, and greetings from a fellow Floridian. Don't you love living so close to the magic? Having Mickey as my neighbor is a fabulous perk of living in the Sunshine State. Another perk is the availability of special offers for residents. It sounds like you've taken advantage of a theme park ticket offer, so let's talk about ways to activate your admission.

Disney Resort Hotels can only verify Florida residency for offers associated with hotel stays; unfortunately, they cannot activate resident theme park tickets. You can take your valid proof of residency documents to a ticket window outside any theme park entrance to activate your admission, but I suggest heading to Disney Springs.

The Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs is conveniently located near the Lime Parking Garage and the bus station. Since you're arriving a day early, my tip is to head to Disney Springs to have your tickets activated and then grab dinner and do some shopping. My family enjoys a little friendly competition at Splitsville Luxury Lanes where we can eat while we bowl. Their California Crunch sushi roll is my favorite!

Kelsey, I hope your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit is practically perfect. Please stop by planDisney anytime. I'll keep the Florida orange juice chilled for you!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
