    Headed to the Polynesian in Aug. which longhouse would be best for the monorail, TTC and food? which ones have been renovated?

    Tracking what has, and has not, been renovated is always a risky game. Schedules at Disney constantly change, so what you think might happen now, and what it is like in reality in August are always going to be two different things.

    If I were in your shoes, I would go with the following order of preference to maximize the chances of being in a renovated longhouse, as well as to get that ideal location central to the great Ceremonial House (lobby building), the Transportation & Ticket Center, and the monorail;

    1. Tokelau
    2. Rarotonga
    3. Niue
    4. Tonga
    5. Samoa
    6. Hawaii
    7. Aotearoa
    8. Fiji
    9. Tuvalu
    I expect these to still be under renovation when you visit, though I have no insider information.
    • Tahiti
    • Rapa Nui
    Also note that a few of the ones in the first list may be Concierge level, so dependent upon your room type, they may not be a choice.

    Have a magical vacation!
