HEA dessert party is changing to before & after party. Ive read online people querying the garden area being more crowded due to this. As Ive already purchased my HEA party before the change, please confirm if both garden areas will now be utilised

Hi, Max, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My sister and I attended the Happily Ever After Fireworks Dessert Party last summer and I found it to be a wonderful way to end our day in Magic Kingdom Park. Not only did we get to taste some of the sweetest desserts in the Kingdom, but we had a view of Cinderella Castle for the evening's spectacular that was practically perfect in every way. As soon as I booked a trip this summer with my younger daughter, I started watching for availability at this dessert party again.

Walt Disney World Resort did recently add an option to the delicious festivities, one that allows guests to watch Happily Ever After and then go enjoy desserts. This After Fireworks Dessert Party even offers exclusive treats that are not present at the "before" party, such as spinach dip with crackers, house-made mini-eggrolls, and Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake. Guests of both of these parties are welcome to made their way to the East Plaza Garden at the time indicated on their reservation confirmation. This area is near The Plaza Restaurant and Tomorrowland Terrace. At this time, this is the only area being utilized for dessert party guests.

From what I have learned, the number of attendees at the After Fireworks Dessert Party is being limited so it does not overly affect the viewing area for Happily Ever After. I do know a couple of guests who attended this party this week. I hear that it was a great experience with a spectacular view and there was a good amount of space available.

Thanks again for stopping by, Max. I do hope this information helps you plan a magical day in Magic Kingdom Park! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
