    I am having trouble getting the vacation planning interface to let me rent two king bed rooms instead of 1 large room for four adults. Also, I can't seem to make reservations at the Wilderness lodge in October, which opens in June.

    Hey there, Robert!

    I can not tell you how much I love Disney's Wilderness Lodge. It is where I stayed with my father growing up, and I have so many fantastic memories of splashing around in the feature pool and dining at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. 

    Now, Robert, to book two rooms on the Walt Disney World Resort website, you will need to complete two transactions. So book your first room, complete the purchase, and book the second. Do not worry, you will still be able to have both reservations linked in your My Disney Experience Account. 

    You are absolutely correct that Disney's Wilderness Lodge will be opening this summer with newly updated guest rooms! If I were to guess why no rooms are showing for October, I would say that this is because of the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort on October 1st. This date kicks off a celebration for the ages, including the opening of the all-new Remy's Ratatouille Adventure!

    Since Disney's Wilderness Lodge is in such close proximity to the Magic Kingdom, I would think it would be one of the first resorts to book up. Try to look at different resorts for availability, such as Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, or try adjusting your dates.
