    Hi there. We're having trouble getting a reservation for lunch at the famous Be Our Guest restaurant. I'm a little late in planning so they are all booked up. Do they take walk ups? Or should I give up and try for a reservation somewhere else?

    Hey, JD! Thanks for stopping by with another great question for us! I am sorry to hear you have not been able to grab a reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant yet. This is one of my older daughter's favorite spots to dine at lunch when we visit Magic Kingdom Park. They just recently added some new dishes to the menu and changed up a few of the old favorites. I hear (from the dishes, of course!) that they are all quite magnifique!

    If you really want to dine in the Beast's Castle, then I want to encourage you to keep trying. Guests change their plans often, so you never know when the pixie dust will find you. I have gotten a reservation at this dining location and many other popular destinations in the days and weeks leading up to our trips - even the day of our visit! If you still do not find availability, then you may want to stop by the check-in area at the front of the dining location just before or right as they begin serving lunch at 11:00 a.m. I have had some luck with being able to get a table on-the-spot if we arrive just as they begin seating guests.

    If you do prefer to have a definite reservation plan for lunch that day, then I highly recommend that you go ahead and make a reservation elsewhere. If you do end up finding availability at Be Our Guest Restaurant, then you can always cancel the original one you made. Our lunch favorites in Magic Kingdom Park are Liberty Tree Tavern and The Plaza Restaurant.
