Hello there, Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and asking your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!
Guests can now return to all of the magic they’ve grown to love at Walt Disney World Resort! As Guests are continued to be welcomed back, there have been some
changes made in order to promote the safety of all of those who visit. During your upcoming visit, you can look forward to enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact. During our recent visits, we were thrilled with the commitment to Guest safety and felt so at ease with all of the precautions. It was so nice to have time in which we felt less concerned for our safety and were able to just enjoy our time together!
Another change is the need to have theme park reservations prior to visiting any of the four theme parks. Guests can make reservations through the
Disney Park Pass system as soon as they have purchased tickets and connected them to their
My Disney Experience account. It is highly recommended that you check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar online prior to purchasing tickets to verify that there is availability during your anticipated travel dates, as well!
It sounds as though the system may be a bit confused since you are trying to alter your previously made theme park reservations. If you haven’t already done so, I would recommend verifying that you have canceled the theme park reservations you made previously. If this has not been done, the system will likely see your previously made reservations and think that you have “used up” the
theme park tickets that are connected to your My Disney Experience account. This is the most probable reason it is requesting that you link your theme park tickets. If you have already canceled your previous theme park reservations and continue getting an error message, I would recommend reaching out to the
Website Support phone line. They are the best resource for fixing any technical issues you may be experiencing!
Best of luck as you continue to plan for your visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to let us know if we can answer any additional questions for you!
