Are you having the thanksgiving buffet in the grand ball room at the disneyland hotel this year?

    Hiya Robin!

Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you thought of us while you're planning a magical Thanksgiving feast for your favorite Mouseketeers. I remember dining with my family in the Grand Ballroom at the Disneyland Hotel years ago. It was such a luxurious and wondrous feast!

Today, I spoke with Carrie, one of the friendly cast members at the hotel. She confirmed that since the hotel reopened in 2021, there hasn't been a Grand Ballroom holiday buffet. She even double-checked with the catering and events team, and unfortunately, there are no plans for a Thanksgiving Buffet in the ballroom this year.

But, Robin, there's still good news! If you're still looking to Be Our Guest for an upscale feast, the Napa Rose restaurant at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will serve a divine prix-fixe 4-course Wine Country Feast that promises to be a truly elegant affair. It's the perfect choice if you're looking to add a touch of luxury to your Thanksgiving celebration.

Now, let's talk about my favorite restaurant in the entire resort, Storyteller's Cafe, and the hugely popular Goofy's Kitchen. Both of these places have absolutely fantastic Thanksgiving menus that you and your family will fall in love with. They've got an early start lunch buffet featuring all the traditional Thanksgiving favorites. And for dinner, there's a different buffet loaded with turkey, classic Thanksgiving sides, prime ribeye, and even a parade of pies – pumpkin, of course, but plenty of other delicious options too!

Robin, as soon as I saw that menu, I couldn't resist snagging a Thanksgiving afternoon dining reservation for my family.

Robin, I know Thanksgiving is less than 50 days away, but keep your eyes peeled on the Disney Parks Blog. Special holiday menus tend to pop up closer to the date or after the next holiday (in this case, Halloween). That's my go-to spot for staying in the loop on events, foodie guides, and announcements all year round.

I hope this info helps you lock in the magical Thanksgiving dinner you've been dreaming of, Robin. If any more questions pop up for you, just come back and visit me again. I'm bursting with excitement to share my best tips and tricks to make your visit as magical as can be!

    See ya real soon!
