    Hi! Will be having a late dinner, 9:15 PM, at California Grill on 12/25. We are staying at WL. Since the MK is open until 11 PM, how long will the boat or busses be running back to the WL that night?? Don't want to be rushed thru dinner. Thanks!!!!

    Hi Michael!

    It sounds like you are planning a wonderful vacation! The Wilderness Lodge is beautiful at the holidays! Our family loves to sit in the lobby and enjoy the atmosphere - including the bell ringers who play wonderful music! AND, the California Grill on Christmas sounds like a great way to celebrate the season as well!

    No worries! We've used the direct boat from the Contemporary to the Wilderness Lodge (it also continues on to Ft. Wilderness) many times. The exact schedules change with park hours, but we have used them until after 11pm with no problems.

    My best advice, is to ask the boat captain how late they will be running, or stop by either resorts lobby concierge to ask. If you'd like to linger over dinner until after that time, you can walk from the Contemporary to either the Magic Kingdom's bus stops or boat docks. At either location you should have no trouble with transportation to the lodge.
