Hello Jennifer!
Welcome to planDisney! You are not alone in your struggles. While I am not sure to the “why” behind the situation, Stitch seems to be messing with Mickey’s computer system more frequently than usual. I do have a few ideas and tips though, that may help you!
For whatever reason, I find that when I am using the same browser window to access Disney sites frequently, the “cookies” or (whatever those things are, I’m a nurse, not a computer person!) tend to build up and cause an issue. Clearing the cookies or history will often help. But to be honest, it doesn’t always fix the issue for me. My next trick is to open a “new private window” or use “incognito mode.” This almost always works. But even then, since I am on Disney sites so frequently, that private window will even get used too much and give me issues. I close that private window out completely and open a new one and MAGIC! It works! This is what I just did to check
dining reservations for you. When I first tried to check for a table for four on November 21, I received an error message. Upon closing and opening a new private window, I was able to see many available reservations. I was also able to find reservations using the
My Disney Experience Mobile App for that week.
Another issue could be that you are trying to book too large of a table. Many restaurants aren’t booking tables larger than 6 to 8. So if you are looking to book a party of 10, the search will yield few to possibly no results. If this is the case, you’ll need to book two tables. Since one person cannot hold two reservations at the same time, either have two party members book different tables, or you should book one and make another party member the primary Guest, then make a second reservation with you as the primary Guest.
Jennifer, I hope one of these ideas fixes the issue for you. If you have additional questions before your visit or need dining recommendations, feel free to send me any questions you have!
Have a Magical Day!
