Bright Suns, Jacob!
Thanks for bringing us your question today. I'm happy to assist.
I'm so sorry to hear that your Lightsaber is giving you a bit of trouble. It's certainly hard to join The Resistance when your tools aren't working as they should. If you built or purchased your Lightsaber while visiting a galaxy far, far away in
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge I'm hopeful that a solution won't be lightyears in the distance. I'd recommend reaching out to
Merchandise Guest Services via phone or email at merchandise.guest.services@disneyparks.com to see if they can assist. I had to contact them for some troubleshooting for the Droid my son built at
Droid Depot a few years back and they were prompt in getting back to me.
If you didn't purchase your Lightsaber in the parks you can also
inquire about returns or exchanges through shopDisney.com. I'm not sure if there is a specific warranty period for your item, but
submitting an online request should be a quick path to additional information. If for some reason you aren't able to remedy the issue, a variety of new Lightsabers awaits whether you'd build a new version at
Savi's Workshop or purchase a replica of your favorite
Star Wars hero or villain at
Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities.
I hope you can get your Lightsaber back in proper working order faster than Han made the Kessel Run. In the meantime feel free to come back with any additional planning questions. We're always ready to assist.
May the Force be with you,
Amy
