Hi there, Sarah! Welcome, friend. Let's see if we can help!
There are so many dining options available at
Walt Disney World. In addition to the incredible dining experiences that we would normally recommend
making dining reservations for, there are also
quick service dining locations that offer way more than just burgers and chicken nuggets.
You don't mention when your trip is, but if you are going to be visiting during a really busy time, like a holiday or when schools tend to be off, it may be a bit harder to snag some of the more popular dining reservations. Certain meals, like character meals, can also be a little bit harder to get. In those situations, it helps to be flexible. Instead of searching for a specific dining time, search by meal - like breakfast or lunch. That way, you'll get results that don't match a set time. You may put in a dining time of 12 PM, and 2:15 PM is available. You might be able to make that work.
Another thing you can do is use your
My Disney Experience app to do a search for reservations available "now" - right when you are wanting to go eat. Also, don't forget to look outside of the theme parks. There are character meals, buffet dining experiences, and some excellent restaurants available at the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels. Some of my favorite restaurants are at
Disney Springs, so check there as well.
I also always recommend checking back often. People change plans all the way up to the day of, so if your heart is set on something special, keep trying!
Good luck!
Anna
