We will having our first Disney vacation Aug 2012 with our boys ages 7 and 4. We will be at the resort mid to late afternoon and want to possibly do a dinner show? Looking for recommendations? Is MBYB good or is there something better?

Hi Missy! Congrats on your upcoming trip to the most magical place on earth! Your boys are going to have the time of their lives at Walt Disney World!

Mickey's Backyard BBQ (MBYB) is a fun all-you-care-to-eat meal with entertainment built in. There's dancing, character's and yummy BBQ chicken. It is an awesome show.

Another show that is a favorite is the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue. This show is also at Fort Wilderness, but features a comedy show, music and dancing. It is also an all-you-care-to-eat buffett, but serves fried chicken, BBQ ribs and strawberry shortcake.

Both shows are great, but kids particularly like the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue because of the high energy and zany comedy.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
